Web-Based Activities
In a recent study of more than 4,500 CME participants, more than 60% expressed a preference for online education, either in a self-paced, self-administered format or by webcast. Online education offers busy clinicians the convenience of engaging in CME as their schedule permits, and multimedia techniques keep the material interesting and the participant focused. CME certificates are generated by participants online, eliminating the need for printing, handling, and shipping. Grant money is focused where it should be: on education.
